Sino-Russia Transnational Century Project Put Into Operation! “Made in Hengyang”Appears

 On Dec. 2th, the natural gas pipeline project of China Russia east line, the century project of China Russia cooperation, which was put into operation and was widely concerned. With excellent performance, ValinHYSTline pipesare applied in this "century project" and contributes "Hengyang manufacturing" to the connection of Sino-Russia energy artery.

With a total length of more than 8000 kilometers, China Russia east line is the longest natural gas pipeline in the world. China passes through 9 provinces (districts and cities), with a total length of 5111km, including 1740km of existing pipelines and 3371kilometers need to be bulit, which are divided into three sections: from Heihe to Changling, Changling to Yongqing and Yongqing to Shanghai.

The sectionfrom Heihe to Changling is put into the operation. Valin HYST supplied a batch of line pipeswith steel grade L360Q for the construction of this section. At present, it is continuing to supply Changling Yongqing section. In addition to the pipeline used for natural gas transmission, Valin HYST also provides a batch of large-diameter low-temperature seamless steel pipes for engineering construction, which are used to make high-pressure pipe fittings and elbows.

Due to the complicated natural environment along the pipeline, the lowest temperature in winter is up to - 40 ℃, which requires very high performance of line pipe, especially low temperature toughness. The line pipes L360Q supplied by Valin HYST have excellent low temperature toughness and can meet the impact property requirements under low temperature between -45~-60℃, which has provided strong support for the pipeline construction.
