New Giant Machine of Wind Power Hoisting Launched

       On May 17, the world’s biggest movable boom tower crane LW2340-180 hoisting wind power equipment was launched in the intelligent factory of tower crane of Zoomlion. The maximum lifting moment of the crane reaches 2340 tons·meters, recording a new high around the world. Boom tube and structure tube among other products supplied by HYST are applied on the giant machine, helping build a new benchmark of movable boom tower crane hoisting wind power equipment.

       As reported by Hunan Daily, the tower crane has the maximum lifting capacity of 180 tons and can independently lift the equipment to the maximum height of 180 meters, representing a record high of the industry.

       HYST’s ultra-high strength and toughness boom tube for tower crane is tailored to the customer’s needs of guaranteeing both light weight and strength and toughness of the tube. The product developed by HYST not only has ultra-high strength and excellent low temperature toughness and weldability, but also has very high dimension precision and surface quality, fully meeting the customer’s individual using requirements. The crane can easily lift 180 tons, which is the same as lifting 45 adult elephants to a height of 180 meters.

       At present, HYST has realized the full range of sizes and steel grades of boom tube, developed and produced the world's highest steel grade HSM960 crane boom tube, obtained national invention patent authorization, and is developing higher steel grade boom tubes. The crane boom tube of large diameter and high strength has been successfully applied to the world's largest tonnage all-terrain crane with the maximum lifting capacity of 1600 tons and 4000-ton crawler crane, which has become the "power shoulder" of the heavy equipment.
